Whether you are an experienced player, returning after a long break or thinking about learning a brass instrument for the first time, you will be very welcome at Deveron River Brass.
Who can join?
We are an inclusive community band for players with different backgrounds and levels of experience. You do not need to worry about whether you are “good enough” before getting in touch.
Beginners and returning players
If you are a beginner—or simply feel rusty and would like to rebuild your confidence before joining a full rehearsal—we offer free individual support to help you get started.
Instruments and music
You do not necessarily need to own an instrument. Depending on availability, the band may be able to provide an instrument, music and the other essentials you need to begin playing with us.
Your first visit
Please contact us before attending so that we can welcome you properly and make sure suitable music and an instrument are ready if needed. Come along, meet the band and decide whether it feels right for you.
