Join the Band
There’s a chair waiting for you
Whether you are an experienced player, returning after a long break or thinking about learning a brass instrument for the first time, you will be very welcome at Deveron River Brass.
Already playing?
If you’re an experienced brass or percussion player looking for a new band, we’d love to hear from you. We enjoy exploring a wide variety of music, putting together interesting concert programmes and working together towards performances we can all take pride in.
Beginners and returning players
If you are a beginner—or simply feel rusty and would like to rebuild your confidence before joining a full rehearsal—we offer free individual support to help you get started.
Instruments and music
You do not necessarily need to own an instrument. Depending on availability, the band may be able to provide an instrument, music and the other essentials you need to begin playing with us.
Your first visit
Please contact us before attending so that we can welcome you properly and make sure suitable music and an instrument are ready if needed. Come along, meet the band and decide whether it feels right for you.
